Toyota has officially unveiled the 2012 Hilux facelift.
Featuring a refined appearance, the model adopts a new front fascia, a revised grille and restyled headlights. Interior changes are limited, but include a new instrument cluster, revised trim and an updated 6.1-inch touchscreen display.
The 3.0 D-4D carries over – with a new diesel particulate filter – but the big news is an upgraded 2.5-liter D-4D with 144 PS (106 kW / 142 PS) and 343 Nm (253 lb-ft) of torque. Despite boasting an additional 24 PS (18 kW / 24 hp), the engine has a reduced fuel consumption of 7.3 L/100 km and CO2 emissions of 193 g/km.
