With “Warid Call Block 9211” service you can maintain a block list to restrict unwanted calls. A block list contains all the numbers that you have blocked and do not wish to receive calls from. The procedure for creating and maintaining the block list is as follows:
Adding a number to the block list:
In order to add a number to your block list; send “block”<0321xxxxxxx> in a SMS to 420.
Charges of Rs. 2+tax per SMS shall be applicable.
Removing a number from the block list:
In order to remove a number from your block list; send “unblock”<0321xxxxxxx> in a SMS to 420.
Charges of Rs. 2+tax per SMS shall be applicable.
Removing all numbers from the block list:
In order to delete all the numbers added from the block list send “delete all” in a SMS to 420.
Charges of Rs. 2+tax per SMS shall be applicable.
Retrieving all numbers added to the block list:
To retrieve the numbers added to your block list send “List” in a SMS to 420. The character limit for an SMS is 160 characters.
Charges of Rs. 2+tax per SMS shall be applicable.
Adding latest caller’s number to the block list:
You can also add the latest caller’s number to the block list, type “Last” and send it as an SMS to 420. The system shall automatically detect the number from which you received the last call and add it to your block list.
Charges of Rs. 2+tax per SMS shall be applicable.
How to register:
The registration for “Warid Call Block 9211” service can be done by dialing 9211 or via SMS. The details for the same are provided below:
Dial IVR 9211 and follow the instructions to subscribe the service

Monthly subscription charges of Rs. 19+Tax shall be applicable for both prepaid and postpaid users.
Charges of Rs. 2+tax/minute shall be applicable.

Q. What announcement shall be heard by the caller added in the block list?
Once you have subscribed to the service a default announcement against the obnoxious caller(s) in the block list shall be assigned.
Q. Can I change the default announcement assigned to a caller?
Yes you can also choose from a wide range of pre-recorded announcements available at the IVR 9211 (2+tax/min).
You may also choose an announcement via SMS type “ann”<space><announcement code>space<0321xxxxxxx> in your SMS and send it to 421. (10+tax/announcement)
Q. Can I record and assign an announcement in my own voice?
Yes you can also record announcements (15 seconds long) in your own voice by dialing 9211 from your Warid number and following the instructions. The announcement(s) shall be subject to approval. (2+tax/min).
Q. What is the subscription period of this service?
The subscription for both Prepaid and Postpaid users will be valid for 30 days from the day of registration.
Q. Do I need to renew my subscription every month?
Postpaid subscribers shall be charged against their monthly billing cycle and will automatically get re-subscribed.
Prepaid subscribers, in case of sufficient balance shall be automatically charged for the service against the respective month.
Q. What if I don’t have sufficient balance at the time of subscription renewal?
In case of insufficient balance a grace period of 30 days shall be provided to the prepaid subscriber after which the service will be deactivated.
Q. How do I unsubscribe from the service?
Type “ STOP ” in your SMS option and send it to 420 .
Who can avail this service?
The service is available for both prepaid and postpaid subscribers.
Q. Does this service block SMS as well?
The service is currently being offered against incoming calls only.
